Links: Laser Challenge V2 Gear
Overview
Laser Challenge V2 is the best Laser Challenge gear made. It is very durable and has well rounded features. It was also very easy to acquire and didn't cost an arm and a leg. A lot of the V2 gear went on clearance at most Toys R' Us's in 2000. I bought a few sets when they were selling real low.

There are a few options to the V2 line. There are 3 guns, and all vests come with a build in back vest. ELS adapters and computers give some neat features too. All of the guns feature Max Blasts, which is 3 hits for one shot if it hits the opponent, and the ability to turn the gun on with or without sound (first introduced on Micromax Blasters). All of the vests contain Blast Shields, which are 10 second invulnerability. You start out with 3 Max Blasts and 3 Blast Shields when you activate the Vest and Gun.

ELS Computer top
Released- 1998
Battery Req.: 3 AA's
Accessory Port(s): 3; 2 gun and 1 Parallel

Info: The ELS computer adds Laser Challenge Pro like features to the V2 line. When you first turn it on you can program the time limit (up to 10 hours), number of hits (up to 30), and how many are on each team (red and blue). Each person plugs in when it asks and everyone gets a unique ID. When the game is over, whether time ran out or one whole team is dead, everyone plugs back in and it pulls up various statistics like hit % for each person, who killed who, the best shooter, and the worst shooter. You cannot shoot your teammates or yourself and you have a limited amount of reloads. You just plug back into the computer to ge t more reloads. The only down side is there can only be a maximum of 8 people.
There is also ELS software to connect with a computer and print out the results.
