The OLCA could've technically been started much earlier than Spring of 2006 when I began organizing tagging events with friends. Myself and a friend had been tagging together since 2001 at a park near his house. However, when we started the OLCA and opened a forum to plan events, attendance and activity sprung up. Participating in the games is always free for anyone who shows up. The OLCA has a large armory (Approx 40 Sets) that can be loaned out to players who don't own their own gear. Our gear ranges from the very first Laser Challenge sets to the newest gear released by Jakks Pacific. Still, the OLCA's favorite gear is V2.

The OLCA currently has 3 locations in the Omaha Metro Area where games are scheduled. They vary in size and have different features that make each one unique to play in. They are parks open to the public and each of them are open until 11pm at night. We end games automatically at 11 so that law enforcement can't have a reason to kick us out. Sometimes law enforcement shows up because a neighbor reports "Paintball" or "a bunch of guys drinking", but as long as we're there just tagging as usual and we're out by 11pm, the law enforcement doesn't mind.

The OLCA has recently undertaken many customization projects. Many of our veteran members use their own Custom gear. Until recently, most of that "custom" gear was just painted black or had a flashlight taped to it. In the past year, the OLCA has had several customization projects that have produced specialized and unique weaponry for our veteran members. As more players become "regulars", more custom weaponry shows up. Its been interesting seeing the times changing.

We are currently approaching our 3rd season for the OLCA. That season will officially open in May and end in mid-August. During each season, the members of the OLCA decide on a "Fight Night" when we can meet weekly. This guarantees us at least 1 game per week during our seasons which makes for a very busy season! In the off-season, we still hold matches but they are not on a regular basis. Much of the off-season games are held as "Mock Battles" to test out gear that our veterans are working on to prepare them for the next regular season.

I guess if the account is to be activated manually then it is really a good security that is common but it is an effective security strategy. and not as hard on setting it up for ensuring the security.
